Mingnan Yao (姚明楠)

I am an undergraduate student pursuing a dual-degree in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Michigan and Electrical and Computer Engineering at Shanghai Jiao Tong University.

My interests lie in biomedical data science, applied machine learning, and multi-modal data modeling, with a focus on developing computational methods to analyze complex biological and engineering datasets. I have hands-on experience working with Python and PyTorch in research settings, including multi-modal learning for single-cell data and literature-driven exploration of learning-based robotic systems.

I am currently seeking technical internships and research opportunities where I can apply my quantitative and programming skills while continuing to deepen my understanding of real-world data-driven problems.
